Anyone know about Affiliate Marketing?

Life has dealt me a series of bad blows and I have been trying to do this affiliate marketing thing and haven’t got any where with it. Is it even worth my time and effort.

    Most of these Affiliated Marketing set-ups are what I would call legal scams. The way they make their money is by signing up "independent business people" then charge them a fee to join. If not that they simply have them sell products to their friends and family and of course the people higher up the chain all get a cut, so they make a lot of money from all their "sellers" while the sellers get comparatively little for their time. I would say that these MLM’s (multi level marketing) rarely pay more than what you’d make with minimum wage.
